Termofix 1600°C is a one-component fire resistant sealant on inorganic silicate basis. It is
used for quick repairs of fireplaces, stoves, chimneys and fire-resistant blocks.
- does not slump in vertical joints
- excellent adhesion to most building materials (concrete, aluminium,
firebricks, glass, steel, iron) without a primer
- not suitable for sealing expansion joints
sealant must not be exposed to rain or washed with running water, not even
to temperatures from -20°c to 1600°c
should be applied at temperatures from +5°c to +35°c
the spreading of fire, smoke and gases
It is used
for bonding refractory materials when temperature resistance up to 1600°C and
fire resistance are required: furnaces, chimneys, fireplaces, stoves, sealing gaps
around ducting. It can be applied on concrete, aluminium, firebricks, glass,
steel and iron.
At least 12
months in a dry place at temperatures between 10°C and 25°C. Do not store near
cold or hot objects.
